Teething and Sleep do not go together!!!
My poor little baby is trying to cut his first tooth and his poor mommy and daddy are becoming sleep deprived. For the past few nights he has woken up almost every two hours. I try to put him back to bed in his crib but he wont go to sleep, However if i put him in my arms to sleep with me he is out in a second. Last night he had a fever and runny nose all night. Hopefully these teeth will cut soon. It would be a great gift for out adoption finalization on Monday. Yes that is what I said! Six Months is up, we are going to court on Monday and then he is our for good!!! Wa Hooo.

Date night with the guys!!!
Tonight Brooks's dad gave us tickets to go to the Jazz game and sit in the OC Tanner Executive Suite. We were supposed to go with Brooks's sister but at the last minute they were not able to go. We called everyone we could think of, we were really trying to get the Kramers to go with us cause we know how he loves the Jazz. Because it was so last minute no one could come or get a sitter. So it ended up being Lucas Kramer and Brooks's good Friend Spencer and Brooks and I. It was a lot of fun. We had yummy food, crab, Prime rib Shrimp and many yummy desserts to pick from and the great part is the Jazz one. Thanks mom and dad for a fun time. Emily I missed u!
Thumb Sucker???? (this one is for you Aunt Rachelle)
So the other night we had a family get together at my moms to talk about funeral arrangements for my Grandma. My Cousin Grant was nice enought to rock Braxy to sleep. When he fell asleep I laid him on the bed and later went in and checked on him and he was sucking his thumb. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. He does not do it too often an he did not keep it in there too long so I am not worried about it being a habit we will have to worry about. But it is dang cute when he does it!
4 Month Apt (a month and a half late!)
Braxy had it "four month" check up on Monday Morning. Dr said he is doing great and growing perfectly. He weighed 16 lbs and was 26 1/2 inches long. He is in the 25th percentile in his weight and head size and is 50th in his length. He said he has great strond legs and will be a wonderful Basketball Player. He also got his shots he cried for a second after he figured out what had happened and then gave the nurse a great big smile. Yes he is a little bit of a flirt!

Families can be together forever....
I am saddened to report this evening that my sweet Grandma Kari passed away tonight at about 8:00. My parents were on their way back from a cruise and their flight landed 20 minutes after she passed. I am sad that My stepdad and mom did not get to say their good byes. It was a bittersweet passing as her daughter, my aunt Kari Ann came in and held her hand, grandmas eyes were half open and Kari Ann said to her its ok mom go to dad, and a few shallow breaths later she was gone. She was just waiting for her little girl to be there with her. We love you grandma and know that is was a wonderful reunion tonight in Heaven. Thank you for leaving such a great legacy. You will be deeply missed!

5 Months old...
I can not believe that Braxy is five months. Not only does that mean that he is getting bigger it especially means that we only have one more month to go!!! We have our court date set for Finalization of the Adoption we have our temple date set to be sealed as a family and of course a blessing day set!!!
Some of the new things Braxy is doing is he is now eating Solids two times a day He loves cereal and fruit and of course Sweet Potatoes. He is rolling all over the place and is sitting up with a little bit of support. He is sleeping a lot less now during the day and loves to play in his saucer, Jump in his jumperoo or just lay on the floor and play with his toys. He will be going to the Dr next week for his four month check up a month late since Brooks was out of a job an we had no insurance. I will give a weight and measurement update at that time!
Hangin with Aunt Sally and Cousin Millie...
Last night I went over to my best friend Sallys house to bake sugar cookies and watch the biggest looser. Sally and I have been best friends since we were born. We grew up down the street from each other and have always been close like sisters. We even used to date two guys back in high school that were best friends! When we were little we always talked that we would live by each other and raise our kids together. Well lucky me about a year or two ago Sally and Dave bought a house right around the corner from us!!! And now we are raising our babies together! Well sally is raising her puppy and working on the baby thing! One of our favorite things has always been to bake cookies and we have many many memories of doing it. It is crazy how fast time flies you would think that with us living around the corner we would see each other more but we both vowed last night that we would be better at that! I love ya Harvey! Thanks for being my beetest friend!

We miss this!
Our first house we had in Bountiful although was a headache and fixer upper we had something fun there all the time. There was not one time during the week that we didn't wake up to deer in our front or back yard. It was so fun to watch them and that they chose our neighborhood to hang out. Today on our way home we decided to drive up Bountiful Blvd and look at all the pretty houses and see if we could see some deer. Well we did not see any up on the mountain but as we were heading home we saw some in the front yard of this house. We stopped and watched them for a while and then noticed that there were about 5 or 10 more back in the back yard of this house. We both commented on how that was the one big thing we miss at our old house was the visitors!
Why do we wait till it is too late...
My cute little Grandma Kari Folkerson has been in a care center for quite a few years. Unfortunaly I can count on one hand how many times I have gone to visit her while she has been there fortunatly she has been well enough to be able to come to most of our family get togethers so we get to see her there. I have many great memories of Grandma and all her fun norwegian ways. Unfortunalty she has recently fallen more ill and has infection growing throughout her body and is not expected to be here a whole lot longer. I just wish wish wish that I would have been better at going and visiting her. With that said after the blessing today we went and visited her. She was in good spirits and was happy but looked tired and has lost a lot of weight since Christmas. We visited and she played with Braxy and sang her famous norweigian song she sings to the babies and the only part I have ever been able to remember is woof woof woof woof! Grandma we love you so much and I am so sorry I have not been better at coming to visit you!!!

Catching Up!!
I has been a few weeks since I have posted anything so here are some catch up posts.
Lets see three weekends ago Brooksie and I decided to venture up to the cabin for the weekend. We tried our hardest to get any of our friends to go up but because we waited till the last minute everyone already had plans. It was nice and relaxing. It was also Braxys first ride on a Snowmobile since we have to snow mobile into the cabin. Needless to say he screamed the whole way and was not too sure about it. This was my fault because I did not have his face covered too well and he did not like the wind in his face. That Sunday Brooks's sister and kids came up cause the kids were out of school. Brooks and I were planing on going home Sunday but I stayed with Bre Sunday night and came home Monday. I am glad I did we had a great time we stayed up late and talked and talked and the kids had fun playing with Braxy.
