Plant a Garden.....

This year Brooks's brother, sister in law, Brooks and I decided to plant a garden in Brook's parents back pasture. They have a fenced of piece of property for the Garden and we are lucky enough to get to use it. We went over yesterday and got most of it planted: 35 tomato plants, 20 pepper plants, squash. zucchini, Eggplant, beets, beans, cantaloupe, cucumbers, and we still have potatoes. corn, and pumpkins to plant and I am sure we may throw a bit more in. I sure hope that it will grow and prosper I am excited to see how it all goes.

Breakfast with Friends

Our friends Laura and Brice have been in town due to Lauras dad getting into a terrible horse accident and unfortubatly passed away a week after the accident. So yesterday (saturday) We had a brunch with them and the Kramers. We always have such a fun time together and we miss them so so much. The kids enjoy playing together as well. We hope that one day they will come back and maybe we will be lucky enough to have them come back to our neighborhood. (hey we can dream right)

Say Cheese

Lately Braxton loves getting his picture taken and loves taking pictures. The other night I was mixing up some fruit dip and he was loving tasting the Marshmellow Creme and got it all over his face so we had to break out the camera. Say Cheese!

Mothers Day ti

On Mothers Day I was lucky enough to get to spend the whole day with my mom. With it being my moms first mothers day without her mom I wanted to make sure it was special and I think it was a success. We got up early and headed out and went to sacrament with mom and dad then went back to her house and I prepared a brunch of Creme Brulee french toast, Cinnamon Rolls, Quiche and fruit and dip. Mom had a great time being able to just relax and enjoy her kids and grand kids. It was such a nice day we pretty much spent the day outside. We were able to spend Saturday night with Brooks's family to celebrate. Happy late mothers day to all you mothers out there. I am so grateful that I get to be a mom to the most beautiful little boy in the world. He is such a blessing in our lives and I thank god everyday for the Sacrifice Lindsey made to allow me to be a mom.

Swimming Lessons

For the past 5 weeks Bracy and I have been going to a mom and tot swimming lesson at the rec center with Emily and Audry. It has been so fun to see Braxton grow in just these short 5 weeks. He loves the water and has no fear which is good yet could be a detriment! He learned how to kick, float, move his arms, blow bubbles and does not mind going under the water. I of course did not think fast enough this morning to bring the camara with me so here are the few crappy shots I got with my phone! Cherry Hill here we come this summer!
