Christmas Tradition # (i dont know what number we are on!)

About 4 years ago Steves family decided to stop exchanging gifts and start doing an act of service or give to someone in need or that needed a pick me up. So my aunt came up with the 12 days of Christmas basket idea. Each family is given one day of the 12 days of christmas, then we buy what we want for our one day but we buy enough of them for each person in our family to help understand cause it is confusing to explain say i have the 12th day of christmas i find what i want to do for the 12th day of christmas but i buy enough for each little family within my family. Then the night that we do gingerbread houses we divide everything up so you have the 12 days of christmas. Confusing to explain but it works. Then we get to choose who we want to do the 12 days of christmas too we can deliver the gifts one day at a time or put them all in a basket and give at once. It is fun to see all the fun creative things that we all come up with then on Christmas eve we all go around the table and tell who we gave our basket too and our experience we are all usually shedding tears when we do so. Yes Meg and Brad it was us!!! Here is a pic of this years basket all put together.

You guys are such sweethearts. Thank you very much. It meant a lot to us last year. More than you know - and in turn - we did the same thing to a family this year that lost their baby. What a great tradition!!

Hey, it's Tammy Clayton. I found your blog through my neice's. Your little guy is so darn cute and getting so big. Hope you had a fun Christmas with him and your family.

Do you still sell Scentsy?
