Here we are

Well we arrived on Saturday and we have had a great time ever since. Sunday we went to church then we went to downtown and walked around. Monday we went to the magic kingdom and had a blast. the crowds were great and the weather was good. It did get a little hot in the middle of the day and Braxy did not love being hot but once he was able to cool off he was a happy boy. Today we went to Animal Kingdom it was also a lot of fun. Brooks and I's favorite ride was the Expedition Everest we had to ride it a couple of times. It looks like tomorrow we will be going to Hollywood studios. Here are some snap shots so far

The Beattie Family vacation countdown is ON!!!

Well we are less than a week from leaving on what has become an annual Beattie family vacation. Brooks's parents are so sweet they try once a year to take us on a fun family vacation. It is usually to Disneyland or Yellowstone but this year we are headed to the World, that's right folks DISNEYWORLD!!! I would like to take the credit because if it was not for me coming into this family I don't think they really would understand the importance of DISNEY in every ones life!!!lol. Last year we went to Disneyland for a few days then on a cruise it was so much fun. It has always been kind of sad for Brooks and I cause we did not have a child to take with us but this year it is different. Although Braxy is too young to know what is going on and what we are doing I am so excited to finally be going on vacation to Disneyworld with our own little baby. So anyway enough blabbing it will be a busy week getting ready and we are leaving Saturday and will be there all week! 1st Snow Storm and Fun and Family at the Cabin

This weekend we were able to take my family up to the Beattie cabin. We had a great time. It was the first snow storm of the season and it was beautiful. We all had a great time playing guitar hero, singstar, watching movies, eating and visiting. I am so glad Rachelle and Tracy and the kids were able to come it is never a party with out them. Unfortunatly Brooks had to go home on Friday night because he was on call for the snow storm to plow and he did not even get called out. We missed him!

Braxtons 1st trip to Cabelas

Ok Folks Brooks's dream came true today. He has forever wanted to have a baby boy that he can take with him shopping and to look at the animals. Well Brooks was not feeling well this morning (yeah right!) so he called in sick to work and headed south we went. Brooks had a gift card that was burning a hole in his pocket but i really think that was more of an excuse to take Braxton. It was fun and the funnest part was the permanent Grin on Brooks's face the entire time we were there. Braxton of course slept the whole time but that is ok. We also had another surprise while we were there we ran into our aunt and uncle and their kids. Their Daughter Leigh and her husband and kids we in town for the weekend so it was so fun to get to see them and catch up. Katie we missed you!

Happy 90th Birthday Grandma

Tonight we had a get together for Grandma Lucys 90th Birthday It was fun to see all the family and to get together and catch up. We took some cute pics including the multi generational pics we have been wanting to take and some pics of Grandma Kay and Grandpa Steve with the two grand babies. Sorry for the red eye I think I have finally figured out how to fix it.
