"1 year pics"

We took the Babies to get their pics taken today for their 1 year birthdays. They turned out pretty dang cute. I really think this boy should be modeling and making some money, what do ya think!!!

11 Months Old!!!

I cant believe that my little baby is 11 Months old today! It literally seems like yesterday that we were preparing for him to enter our home and our lives. Braxy is at such a fun stage right now. His favorite saying is Uh Oh, and he says it right on cue when he drops something. He is pulling himself up on everything and has been brave enough to take a few steps. We are quickly preparing for his 1 year birthday, I have been planning and trying out different cakes I may want to make, and gathering decorations along the way. We are so blessed to have this sweet little spirit in our lives.

Jam Jam and more Jam

On Saturday I drove by a house that said Free Apricots and I have been wanting to make Jam Sooo, I called my friend Jeanene and said come help me pick and we can do jam. So we did and Monday she came over and we made Apricot jam however I can never just do one thing I have to go to the extreme so I had some strawberries in my fridge so I did a few batches of Strawberry and then I had 2 cups of fresh raspberries from Brooks's Grandpa so I did a batch of raspberry so about 50 bottles of jam later I was out of fruit and freezer space. It was fun though and I Have never done it on my own I am usually an assistant to my mother so I was pretty proud!!!

Fences Are Fun!!!

Well It was finally time to put up the fence. With kids getting older and next year our neighbors boy who is a few weeks younger than Brax and Braxy will be mobile and walking we decided to close in the huge 3 home back yard. To save some money the guys installed it themselves. I dont think it was as bad as they thought it may have been and save us it did. They got one side finished last week and are finishing the other tonight. We could not have done it without our wonderful neighbor Lynn who helped the guys a ton. He is kind of like our neighborhood Dad!

Murray Park

On the 4th we went to Murray park for our usual dinner and fireworks with the Kenney Clan! It was so much fun. The weather was perfect and we all had a great time. The revenge on steve continued. When he got there he had a trunk full of silly string and just kept spraying the kids with it. So Scott took the kids to walmart and they got water balloons and went and filled them up. They were kept in the car until we could get Steve where we wanted him and we opened fire. It was pretty fun until he got hit with one in the eye and his eyeball started to bleed. Its all fun and games until someone gets hurt. We all felt terrible and he sat quiet for the rest of the night plotting what he will do next! It was a fun night I am sad to see it is over!

Eaglewood

Our 4th of July celebrations start every year on the 3rd. We go to Eaglewood golf course in Bountiful to watch fireworks. This year we had everyone over to our house for a bbq then we headed up to the golf course. I was anxious this year to see how Brax would be with the fireworks and he actually liked them. It was such a fun evening. Braxy also got to try Grandmas favorite treat, Cotton Candy he was not too interested. Kiaya and Hayley however started a war with Dad that lasted all weekend long. It started with Silly string and I will tell you how it ended in the next post.
