Rub-a-dub-dub Two Babies in the tub

Well today is Thursday and that means it is Play day For Braxy and Macie. After they ate breakfast this morning I decided I would throw them both in the tub for a bath. The had a blast they played and splashed and splashed and splashed. They were in there for literally 45 minutes!

6 month apt at 8 months....

On Monday Braxy had his 6month Dr apt but really he is 8 months. Because Brooks was out of work for a few months we skipped his 6 month well check due to no insurance. The Dr Said Braxy is doing great his weight is 19.18 lbs and i will be honest i cant remember his height and head circumfrence! lol i have it written down somewhere but most of you probably could care less. She said it is definatly time to get down to his level and baby proof he is ready to crawl and guess what.....he started last night!
Braxy has such a fun personality these days and is constantly wiggiling around. He is sleeping through the night which is heaven for me! We are so greatful to have him in our home and lives.

Today.......

Today as I look back on all of my past posts and how much Braxy has changed and how fun each stage has been I am feeling like I want another! I have always said I think Braxy will be our only child but for whatever reason today I am feeling different. I am sure this will pass within the next hour!

Visiting Grandma

Yesterday we went over to visit Grandma Lucy. When we got there Braxton was asleep and we walked into grandmas room and she was asleep too so mom went and laid Braxy next to her. Grandma instantly woke up but was so happy to find a little baby sleeping next to her! Braxy shortly woke up and we visited and grandma played with him for a while. It is so fun to see how Braxy just lights up Grandmas life.

First Hair Cut

Braxy had his first hair cut a few weeks ago. His hair was getting a little long over her ears so i took him up to my friend Jeanenes house to have her trim above his ears. So i guess we should say he had his first trim! He sat so still and was such a good boy. Of course we would not expect anything different! Thanks Bajene for helping us out you are the best!

Braxy's First Easter Cont...

On Sunday when Braxy woke up we took him down to his Easter pile the Easter bunny Left him. We weren't going to have the Easter Bunny visit this year because he does not understand what id going on yet but then we decided we better have him come since this is his first Easter and he may be our only child so why not Live it up!!! Braxy got a couple of summer outfits, some Sunglasses that he absolutely loves and does not take off or even touch, Some treats and a few toys.
Sunday afternoon we headed over to my moms for lunch. My mom always does such a nice job her table was beautiful and the food was Excellent. I had the most fun Watching her with her Grand babies. She was in her glory giving them their Easter Baskets and playing with them. Braxy got some PJ's from grandma and a book and a toy and Uncle Scott got braxy the cutest Truck Easter basket that talks and some books and a Froggy. It was even more special that Grandma Lucy was there with us she had fun just watching the babies and Visiting! After we left my moms we went to the Beatties where we had yummy turkey dinner and an Easter egg hunt. It was such a fun Holiday and Braxy had so much fun he fell asleep on the way home from Grandma and Grandpas and did not wake back up till Monday morning!

Braxys First Easter!!!

Braxy had a busy but fun Easter! On Saturday we went to My Aunts house for Brunch and an Easter egg hunt. It is so fun to see all the kids get so excited and the adults even got to hunt an egg! We also played Plinko from the Price is Right. My Uncles Dad made it. It was fun and I wond the Grand prize, A Giant Chocolate (fake Chocolate) Easter Bunny!

Catching Up

It has been a while since i have posted. My laptop is on the fritz and I have not wanted to fork out the money to fix it yet so I stuck with my step dads Dinosaur but it is very nice of him to let me use it.
So lets see, About 3 Saturdays ago we had craft day and I made some cute things for Baxy's room and for the house how ever mu cute Spring sign I made i was so into it i did not notice that i painted my G backwards, and the even better part my friends that were sitting at the table did not tell me either. Thanks girls!
Braxy turned 7 months last week, he is getting so big he is sitting up on his own and also is just days from crawling he is talking more and knows what is going on around him. I just can not believe he is ours! One Sunday My Niece and Nephews came over while their parents went to the Hospital to visit some one and I being the aunt that I am thought it would be fun to bake sugar cookies for them to decorate. Yeah it sounded like a great idea, after I had them half baked i wondered what i was thinking. But it was fun and they enjoyed it. We went to the cabin over conference and there are a few pics of macie and braxy that i took when i was watching both of them. I think I have mostly caught ya up anything i have missed you will see in the pics.
