Visit with Grandma and Grandpa Angus

This last weekend my dad and step mom came to visit from Tennessee. This is the first time they met Braxy so it was lots of fun. We went and picked them up at the airport we were trying to trick them and tell them we would just pull up and get them but instead we were inside waiting for them. Dad called when the plane landed and said they would call us when they were getting off at the gate. So we sat and waited and waited and waited. Finally i called him and said where are you and he said we just got our bags and are outside DUH i somehow they walked right past us without us seeing them or them seeing us. So i said well come back in we are in waiting for you. That night we went to dinner and Scott and Aubrey and macie met us at La Puente (dads favorite restaurant) then after that we came home and set up the Wii that they brought and played and played and played, my arm is still sore. it was a lot of fun. Then Sunday dad and i went to the store to get some groceries cause dad was cooking Turkey dinner. then we came back and Scott and his little family got here and we had Christmas, played the wii and laughed and had fun. It was a great weekend we had to take them to the airport at 6am on Monday which was sad but although it was a short trip we had a really good time.

Cereal and Applesauce is Nummy

Yesterday we started Braxy on Cereal he did not like the cereal alone so we added a little applesauce and he of course loved it. Then last night when it was time for him night time cereal he knew the drill and opened up and down the hatch it went. Pretty soon he will be eating steak and potatoes with his daddy!

So for the past few weeks my sister in law Bre has been addicted to Twilight. I started reading it before Braxy was born and did not quite finish it because he was early. So my sister in law read all 4 books in one weekend and has seen the movie more times than I care to say. She has been asking me to go see it with her so i can join in the addiction with her finally last night i went with her and yes i am sucked in. I know i am a little late in the game but i will be busy reading this week and will probably find any one who is willing to go to a late night show a couple of nights this week to see it a few more times any takers?

Sugar is oh so SWEET!!!

Can you say Undefeated! Way to go Utes. We went over to Brooks parents on Friday to watch the game it was a great game and the Utes pulled it off. I knew they would and I love that I have bragging rights with my husband for the year since his Cougars did not do so well!!! Here are some pics of the night. 2009 is going to be a Great year!!!

As many of you may know Brooks has been out of a job since the first of November. It has been a challenging time for us especially being the Holidays. I was beginning to think that he was going to be stuck at the minimum wage job he aquired the middle of December forever. Then Friday morniing he called me and said that Questar had called him and offered him the job that he interviewed for. Yeah what a releief. he will be starting next Monday. It is so nice to know that we can breathe now and pay our bills!!! I am so proud of you babe I love ya. 2009 is our year!!!

New Years day

On New Years Day we went and hung out at my moms house and ate more food. Braxton and Macie played with Grandma and we watched movies.

Happy New Year!

On new years eve we went to our friends/neighbors the Kramers. We have All gotten together as neighbors for the past few years but each year our group gets smaller and smaller cause people have moved but none the less the funnest ones are still here! (just kidding tad and Mel and Brice and Laura!) This year we did a Chinese theme all made or brought some of our favorite Chinese dishes and Emily had the table set so cute with all of her Chinese and new years decorations. Brit and Marc stopped by to eat and visit for a bit. We ate and played games and rang in the new year. It was a fun fun time. We were able to snap some photos of Braxy and Mason they are going to be best buds and i am sure will get into a lot of mischeif together. You would not know it but Braxy is a couple weeks older than Mason. Audrey was in bed so she missed out on the photo shoot.

Our baby boy is 4months Old

Last Tuesday Braxton turned 4 months. I can not believe how fast time is going and how big he is getting. He is such a blessing to us and he brings so much happiness to our lives. Some of the new things he is doing is rolling all over the place, Giggling and smiling constantly. He now finally loves bath time and having lotion put on and he has found his fingers and loves to suck on them. We love you buddy!
