Hurry up Spring....

The other night I was cooking dinner on the BBQ and everytime I walked out on the deck brax got upset and wanted to come out. It was still a little chilly but we came in and bundled him up and let him come out for a few minutes he was in heaven. This spring and summer is going to be so much fun. He is at such a fun age and wants to be outside all the time now. Yesterday it was a even nicer day so he went out with daddy and played for a while. Hurry up spring and get here fast!

Craft Project

here is a pic of my latest craft project. I bought this unfinished shelf at Ben Franklin, I painted in and modge poged some paper on the doors. I think it turned out pretty cute i still need to make my handles for it and then hang it in out office!

Jungle Jims

On Monday (Presidents Day) Everyone was off of work and my brother had Macie for the day so my parents took us all to Jungle Jims Playland in Midvale. My sweet grandma used to take all of her grandkids and great grandkids here every christmas as their Christmas gift. We have a lot of fun memories there.
So for $5.00 a child and us adults were free we played for a few hours. The kids had so much fun and were worn out by the time it was time to go. It was so fun to for one watch my brother with his baby girl. He is such a cute daddy and is so in love with his little princess. He was going down the slides with her and having a great time. It was equally as fun to watch my mom and dad with the kids. If any of you know my stepdad Steve he can be percieved as and onery gruff kind of guy but it is so fun to see him with his grandkids. He wont say it but those kids make him so happy and make him quite the softie! As we were leaving he had some tickets to redeem from the arcade games and went over to pick something out for each of the kids and wanted to make sure it was fair and they got the same prize or something equal. Thanks mom and dad for such a fun day. You guys are such cute grandparents and the kids love you so much!

Valentines Day

On Saturday night the boys and I made sugar cookies and took to Braxy's Valenine Audrey and my friend Sally. Then sunday morning we got up and I made heart shaped pink french toast and pink smoothies for breakfast. My boys gave me some flowers and some cute Brighton earrings that I love. After church we headed out to my moms for a yummy Valentines dinner. She went all out. We had crab stuffed salmon, steak, homemade twice baked potatoes and this yummy pear salad. Then of course we had Marie calendars pie for dessert. It was such a fun day and so fun to be together as a family.

Catching Up - Moms Birthday

My Moms bday was on the 29th of January. I took the day off that day and her and I packed up Macie and Braxton and headed to Discovery Gateway. (those pics are on my moms camera, I will post them later for those that care!) We stopped and had lunch first and then went and played. The kids had so much fun and it was fun for mom and I just to be together. Then we headed back to my moms so the kids could nap and when they woke we ordered pizza for dinner and jung out all night and played and watched the jazz game. Brooks headed out after work to join us and was sweet enough to stop at Dicks and get my mom her favorite Chocolate mint cake. It was Yummy. Happy Birthday again mom. We love you!

Blog Shmog

That is how I have felt about blogging lately. Wait let me correct myself that is how I have felt about everything lately! We have been sick here at the Beattie house this past week, ear infections, strep throat, 24hr flu, u name it we had it. So my goal this weekend is to get my half finished craft projects done. My pics downloaded so I can blog. And make valentine cookies with my boys and have a nice long weekend. So until then Happy Valentines everyone.
