The Zoo

Yesterday we got up and took Brax to the Zoo. The plan was to tire him out so we could come home, put him to sleep and get some yard work done and it worked. The zoo was ok a little disappointing I thought. No bears No lions but Brax had a good time none the less.

Weekly Visit

Brooks and I strive to take Braxton to Grandma and Grandpa Hadlows house once a week for a visit. I was never lucky enough to know either of my grandfathers let alone my great grandparents. Braxton LOVES to go to grandma and grandpas. Grandma always sings fun songs with him and he and Grandpa love to play peek a boo together. I cherish these times because life is so short and who knows who will be here from one day to the next.

The first taste of Spring!

This last Saturday was actually a pretty day here. Jeanene and I went and got pedicures and went to lunch for her birthday then I came home and we cleaned up the house a little bit. We headed to costco to get the usual costco stuff, veggies fruit etc and then came home to unload. When we were done unloading we decided to go up and visit Brooks grandparents which we try to do weekly. As we were loading in the car the Kramers walked by. Instead of going visiting we decided to invite them to the back yard to visit and so the kids could play. We decided as it go cooler to have a fire in our fire place. It was so nice and I love the smell of a fire burning. The kids were good to stay away. If we tell Brax something is hot he will stray away.

Easter

We had and fun and busy Easter weekend. On Saturday we went to my Aunt and Uncles for lunch with the fam and an easter egg hunt. Steve (dad) was so dang cute with Braxton. He was making sure he found eggs and lots of candy. He and Brax are buddies. Then we headed over to Brooks parents house for dinner before the guys headed to priesthood then we had a little egg hunt. On sunday we got up and Braxy checked out his Easter bucket the bunny left him. He got some fun books, bubbles new sandals and a few toys. We then headed to my moms for dinner. It was a busy weekend but thats what the holidays are about right!








When ever we go to Grandma and Grandpa Beatties Braxy has to go out and pet the horses. He loves horses.

Easter Sunday Morning





The Easter bunny showed up at Grandmas house too. Brought the kids some new pjs and a few summer outfits and some tools to help us out in the yard this summer.
