Cabin Weekend

This past weekend we had the opportunity to go to the Cabin with my family. My mom just wanted a weekend away with her Grandkids and thats what she got. We went on rides in the Arctic cat, took the kids to feed the horses and just relaxed and watched movies. It was nice and relaxing.

Guess whos Walkin!!!

Our Little Braxy started walking on Saturday. I was in the Kitchen pretty much all day baking and he was playing and started taking a few steps then realized what he could do and would take longer strides and does more and more every day. It is so dang cute to watch him walk. I cant believe how big he is getting. I will post a video as soon as I can figure out how!

Brooks's Birthday

Last Friday was Brooksters Birthday. We agreed this year that we woould not spend money on each other for our birthdays that we wanted to save for Braxys and we both dont need a dang thing. So Friday morning I got up early and decided to make a Cookie Bouquet for Brooks and decorate the house. I got up at 6 and baked the cookies decorated them. Brax and I went and got a sign and some ballons and decorated. Braxy made him a card (well ok he tried to eat the crayons while I made the card) it all turned out really cute. We went to dinner with Brooks's parents and Grandparents that night to Texas Roadhouse and then went to the Davis county fair. I think Brookster had a fun day. I know we did! Love you babe

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Angus

Two weekends ago My Dad and Linda came to visit us and the kids for their birthdays. It was a short trip but a fun one none the less. We had fun Playing monopoly, eating del taco, visiting, eating del taco, driving around and eating del taco. My Dad has this thing for Del Taco he does not stop talking about it when he arrives we went at 1am in the morning the night they arrived. We were all so sick of Del Taco by the time they left. It was so good to see them we dont get to see them a lot and enjoy it when we do.

Slumber Slumber!

My little neice Haven has been begging to have a slumber party all summer. Finally on Tuesday we did it. It was so fun to have her. We painted each others toes, roasted marshmellows and Starbursts and ate ice cream and just hung out. She is such a great help with Braxy and loves being with him. She wanted really badlt to cream uncle Brooks but I knew she would not stay up late enough to do it. So Brooks pretended to fall asleep so we could do it to him, he was such a great sport and Haven thought it was so funny and that we really got him!!! lol

Someones gettin ready to Walk!

Our little Buster Boo is getting more and more brave when it comes to walking. He loves to cruise around on the furniture and is now pushing his walking toy all over the place. It wont be too long he just needs to get the confidence that he can do it!

24th of July

Our Pioneer Holiday was full of parades and fun. On Thursday night we went to the Bountiful parade and sat with Aunt Bonnie and her sis and neice we had great seats and I thought the parade was pretty good. Braxy loved it everytime the horses went by he got so excited and clapped.

Then on the 24th (Friday) We were up early to go to the downtown Parade. It is a tradition for my family. We have connections and get great seats. It was Super hot so we did stay for the first half but then we all left and headed to breakfast at Village Inn. Brooks was not with us this year he had to work but I dont feel too bad since all the guys went to the ogden parade then had a brunch!

Then Saturday evening we went and picked up Brook's Grandparents and headed up to the cabin for the night. We had dinner with lots of fam then hung out. Saturday morning we got up and headed down to the Oakley childrens Parade (forgot the camera) but it was enjoyable as usual and very short sweet and to the point!
