A couple of Saturdays ago My family came out to help us clean out and clear some room in our basement for My brother to store some stuff. It was such a beautiful day that we just sent grandma and the kids outside while we worked. They has so much fun playing and are such good pals!
Our St Patricks day was not so Happy this year. Braxton was stil trying to get over his oral herpes and was not interested in eating his green breakfast I made for him. We did go to the st pattys day parade down town on saturday and on wednesday we just hung out and played and tried to get feeling better. I did make Green eggs and Pancakes and GOLDEN oranges, but like I said there was no interest in eating any of it!
Last Tuesday I won tickets on the radio to the Jason Aldean concert. Brooks stated he didnt want to go because the International sports expo was going on and he would rather go to that Sooooo! Of course I asked my second best date Jeanene. We always have so much fun together and this time was no different. We went to the Olive Garden for dinner then off to the concert. It was 3 hours long and soo good. Thanks Jeanene for joining me!
How many other options are there? Oh wait we forgot Herpes! Yep our poor little Braxy has been diagnosed with Herpes. He has blisters all in his mouth and down his throat and he is MISERABLE. Fortunatly Brooks and I have already had our breakout and wont be getting it again. I broke out with them when i was a little kid and every so often still suffer with a cold sore. Brooks was lucky enough to break out with them 2 weeks after we were married. I had developed a cold sore during our wedding and from us kissing he was lucky enough to get the virus. He was so sick and all I could think was "am i going to be able to live with this "baby" for eternity!" cause he was miserable. We joke still to this day that I gave him the gift that keeps on giving for our wedding. So anyway I am rambling on. That is what is new at the Beattie house. Hopefully we can get through this and catch up on our sleep and be well for the spring and summer. I will catch up on my posts as soon as I catch up on some sleep!
Brooks and I have been married a little over 8 years. It has been a ride full of adventures, some great and some not so great but we stick through them together! We have been blessed with a beautiful son who just turned 2 and he brings all the happiness into our lives and home. We have 2 kitties Jasmine and Tiger. We dont know what the future will hold but we are excited for the ride!
