24 to 48 BYU LOOSES!!!!

Now come on BYU fans did you really think your team could pull it off this year. What a great game 5 turnovers and a 24 point loss it was awesome. However the Kramers and Brooks did not seem to think so. We had our great friends and neighbors the Kramers over for the game and some yummy food and my parents ended up showing up too because they could not get the game on dish network at their house. We had home made cafe rio salads and lots of treats it was a good time and yes Braxton was in his RED rooting for the Utes with his mommy!!!

The inside is done

Well two weeks ago I posted that i was getting my Christmas stuff up and what a chore it is well the inside is finally done. For some reason for the last week and a half i would get something half done and never get back to finish it i am sure that is because i have a three month old to attend to. But finally I can say i am finished and it looks mighty christmasey in here. My sweet husband put the lights up out side yesterday and i just need to do my doorway so when that is complete i am sure i will post pics of the outside. Enjoy, It is beginning to look a LOT like Christmas!!!

Norweigan Cookies and Family Sleepover

And the traditions begin... Our family has many fun traditions at Christmas time. The first of many is the sleepover at the Garff ranch and baking norwegian cookies. We all get together and have a sleepover at my aunt and uncles family ranch and sleep we usually do not. Every time we do this we all fear going to sleep because the boys are always up to no good all night. The are usually creaming people with shaving cream and playing all sorts of tricks on everyone, but none the less it is a fun time with laughter. Then all day the next day we bake lots and lots of Norwegian cookies. We all make a batch of norwegian cookie dough there is Serinakaka, Pepakaka, Danish Krigle, Sandkaka, Krumcakes and Swedish Spritz. We bake all day long and then we have our cookies for the Christmas season to take to parties and enjoy a home. It was a fun weekens however we decided that next year the kids stay home and adults only are going!!! Like Said this is the first of many watch for more posts of traditions to come.

Drum roll please......Drum Roll?

Ok so I am not quite finished but getting close. So last night we went to put up our tree and half of the lights on my 5 year old prelit tree were out so that was justification enought for me after spending 2 hours trying to fix them to go out today and buy a new tree. Taipan had a 25% off coupon so away Brooks and I went to pick out a new tree. It seems tall and slim is the style now so we decided since we have tall ceilings we would get a 10ft and it fit with two inches to spare from the ceiling and I love it. i still need to put the village up underneath it but here are some pics.

As you may or may not be able to see we have a Disney Theme for shristmas around here I have collected ornaments for many years. And every time we go to disneyland or world we always pick out an ornament for the tree this year we picked out one as a new familey and had written on it our first family vacation 2008. There are pics of Brooks and Braxy hanging it together.

Its Beginning to look alot like CHRISTMAS!!!

Many of you may already know what a freak I am when it comes to Christmas, i would have to say that I get it from my Mom. She always had her house decorated to the hill for Christmas and still does. Well i have Incorporated that into my own home now and every year on November 1st out come all the Christmas totes and up go the decorations. It is especially fun this year now that we have a baby. Just like Disneyworld I know Braxy has no idea what is going on but it makes it so much funner with him. Well I better get back to work this is a all day 5 day event to get all this up so as soon as i am done i will post the pics. NOW all of you get BUSY get your trees up!11

2 months, shots too!

While we were in Florida Braxy turned 2 months old. Today he had to go to the Dr and get his shots he did pretty good till he thought about what had happened and then he started crying. His ear infection however is cleared up so we can stop the antibiotic so hopefully he will chipper up in the next few days.

The Second Half of the trip...

Well on Wednesday we went to Hollywood studios. It was a lot of fun Braxy continued to be kind of fussy but we just dealt with it, later that day my brother in law Talmage who did not think he was going to be able to able to join us because of work was able to fly in and surprise the kids while we were at the park. It was cute and I was glad he came to spend the rest of the trip with us. Thursday morning Brooks woke up sick and throwing up so we decided to take a rest that day from the parks. Braxton continued to be fussy that day so we thought maybe he had an ear infection so we took him to urgent care and sure enough he had an ear infection so we got him on an antibiotic and he started doing better. Thursday night we went to Mickeys Not so Scary Halloween party, the kids dressed up and got to go trick or treating at the Magic Kingdom. Braxy of course was the cutest "Squirt" there that is who he was Squirt from Finding Nemo. Friday we went to Epcot and Saturday to Magic kingdom we all in all had a great time it was a busy vacation but we had a great time. It is however nice to come home.
